BSA Mission: The mission of the Brookings Soccer Association is to provide an opportunity for the youth of the Brookings area to develop soccer skills. to foster proper attitudes towards competition and sportsmanship, to learn respect for rules, the value and responsibility of teamwork, self-discipline, and the gaining of self-confidence through the improvement of their soccer skills. Most importantly, the purpose is to provide a FUN, enjoyable and satisfying experience for all involved in the program; players, coaches, referees, and parents.

Announcements
Tentative dates for fall soccer: The week of August 23rd will be the start date. The players will meet their coaches and have their first practice. During this practice time, parents will have the opportunity to pick up their child’s jersey. Coach’s meeting scheduled for Saturday, August 21st time to be announced soon!

2010 State Camp
The South Dakota Olympic Development Program will be offering a state camp at the Dakota Weslyan Campus on June 29th to July 1st for all players interested in enhancing their skills. This camp will also focus on leadership, teamwork, and problem solving. Space is limited. Click on links to see more information about

BSA History
The Brookings Soccer Association was started in July 1994. We currently have over 850 players, 125 coaches, 2 age group coordinators and 13 board members. All involved are volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities
BSA is run entirely by volunteers. Parent coaches and assistant coaches are needed for all teams. BSA provides coaching education for volunteer coaches. Volunteers are also needed to work on special projects or to serve on the Board of Directors. If you are interested in volunteering contact Alicia Price.
